Trick Effect & Routine:
A film canister and cover, a sponge ball, a match and a lighter are brought out. the magi then takes the sponge ball and places it inside the film canister. he then covers it with the cover and takes the match and inserts it in a hole that is in the cover. he then lights the match with the lighter and when he opens the canister the sponge is gone and replaced with a quarter.

PREPARATION:
2 film canisters and the other objects listed above take one of the canisters and cut about 1/4in. from the bottom, take a quarter and place it inside, now take one of the covers and you will see that it has a cap on it, take the cover and make a hole with a nail the same size as a match.

METHOD:
take out all materials for trick and start by showing the empty canister. show cover but hold it in a way not revealing thickness. show the ball and place it in canister, cover it and place flat on table. now take match and place it in the hole and push down, which will push bottom half down on top of sponge. push down firmly, take the lighter and light match for effect. open the canister and shake out quarter. show the canister empty
