Trick Effect & Routine:
This is simple. The magician sits down and makes a coin go through his hand and onto his leg, while the spectator is astonished.

Preparation:
Have a small coin, I use quarters, but any small coin will work.

Method:
Sit on a bench or a chair so that your legs are completely visible and have the hand that the coin will go through palm down on your thigh. Tell the spectator that you can make a coin go through your hand and onto your thigh. Hold the coin between the tip of your thumb and the middle of the side of your index finger while your hand is in a fist. Show the spectator the coin and begin to rub the coin against your thigh. Now here's the tricky part, you purposely drop your coin onto the ground, make it look like an accident, you pick it up, and while your bringing it back to your thigh to try again, secretly and quickly shove the coin under your hand so that the coin is beneath the hand that you have on your thigh. Then pretend you still have the coin in the other hand and rub it against the hand on your thigh. Show that the coin is no longer in your hand and lift up the hand that was on your leg and show that it has gone through.
