Trick Effect & Routine:
This is probably the simplest, easiet way to show both hands empty after a vanish.
Preparation:
You need one coin, although in theory, with practise, you could use several.
Method:
Press the coin into an edge palm in your right hand (if you don't like edge palm, Downs' palm will work too). Point with the right hand at the empty left hand, showing it emtpy. Now the hands come together, and the left third and middle fingers of the left hand clip the edge of the coin closest to them, then these fingers curl in, concealing the coin from view. The left hand now points to the right, which is now also empty.
Comments:
You may not always satisfy all critics that your hands are empty with this pass, nor will it earn you a reputation as a ground-breaking manipulator with coins. However, if you're a beginner, and are fed up with vanishing a coin and hearing the words 'it's in your other hand', this is invaluable. This should be done at a moderate pace, too fast or too slow and it becomes suspicious.
